Y&R hogs the stage at DM creativity awards
With one overall Bronze award, one category winner and three highly commended entries, the direct marketing team at Y&R dominated the prizegiving at this year’s Candida Art of the Envelope Awards.
This year’s award was the biggest ever, featuring a 40% lift in entries. Y&R CD Vaughn Davis said the size and quality of the competition made the result even more impressive: “I’m stoked that we’ve managed such a haul for what was really only 6 months’ worth of work. I’m looking forward enormously to topping our performance next year.”
The Y&R prize tally was the result of three outstanding campaigns, mostly the work of specialist DM creative team Stacey Roper and Danny Brown.
Telecom “Restrictive Plan” won Bronze overall, Best in Category in “50 cent classic” and Highly Commended in “Mailed Masterpiece”
Marketing Association “Creativity and Results” was Highly Commended in the “Mailed Masterpiece” category.
Vector Arena “War of the Worlds” was Highly Commended in the “Reinvent and Redefine” category.
